Here are some pictures of our Lily baby smiling. She's usually a happy girl. It's so nice to see those smiles now and know when she's happy. The outfit in the second picture was the first 3-6 month outfit I put on her. I've been putting off switching her to that size because I just thought they looked so big, but she was really outgrowing her 0-3 month ones, so it was time. I was a bit surprised and saddened when the "big" clothes fit her just fine. I can't imagine how I'll feel when she reaches some actually milestone when a new clothing size made me feel like she's growing too fast.

I remember almost wanting to cry when I'd have to go through Allison's drawers and put away all of the little clothes that she had outgrown. Sara grows out of clothes so quick now, I feel like I'm constantly cycling though them. I put a 3-6 mo. sleeper on her tonight that is getting too small. This will have to be her last time wearing it. Right after I put it on her, she gave one vigorous kick and it was tight enough that it popped one of the bottom snaps right open. I don't know what I'm going to do with this girl.

I too recall this feeling. It's a bit sad to pack away the tiny clothes. It still makes me a little sad when I pack away the sizes she outgrows and I come across some of her teeny tiny newborn clothes. I think the clothes get me more than the milestones. When she accomplishes something new, it's just so exciting and it's hard to imagine her not being able to do the accomplishment. Though when packing away clothes, I'm actually thinking about how much she's grown and how she'll never be that tiny again. Also, the clothes that were once labeled as her "big girl clothes" are beginning to fit. Just a teeny bit sad. I love watching her grow though. It's so amazing. :)

:) that's funny about popping snaps

What a cute cute girl! I can't believe she is already three months old. Now the real fun starts. I love it when they start interacting more and smiling all of the time. I am glad to hear that she is a happy baby!

She looks so sweet. I often thought, "Those clothes look to big for Calyn" so I would shove it in the back of the closet. When it finally "looked" like it would fit, she was almost grown out of it:( I think they're a lot bigger than we perceive them.

There are a couple of things that have been in her closet since last winter. They always looked so huge. They still look huge. I decided to try them on her the other day, just to see if she could wear any of them while we're in Louisiana. They fit. :( I mean, I'm happy they fit, and that she hasn't outgrown them yet, but sadly, they don't swallow her as I expected them too.

Anyway, this comment is just a ploy to get you to post another blog with you and that sweet baby, and sweet Josh too...and the furry baby. :)
