You know, seeing Stacy's adorable bows for Afton has gotten me itching to start making stuff again. Ever since Lily-girl came along it's been hard. Not just because I have to take care of her, but mostly because my crafting/sewing room has become her nursery. So, this weekend I insisted that Josh and I start working on rehabilitation our out of control office. We bought a new bookshelf and moved around some workout equipment. It's nowhere near done but I can see a light at the end of the tunnel and hopefully soon there will be room to spread my stuff out again and get to work. I'm even planning on getting him to make me a rack for all of my ribbon (if/when that happens I'll post pics of it for sure). But, does anyone have any tips for getting rid of clutter?? Both Josh and I are major pack-rats and sometimes I feel like the clutter is taking over our lives. We try to battle it and sometimes we make some headway, then just when we think we've got it beat, it starts creeping back in on us again. Anyway, hopefully soon I can post some pics of the cleaned up, organized office/crafting room. Wish us luck!

I just force myself to throw stuff away. If it's broken, trash it. If I haven't used it or moved it in a while, trash it. It really helps clear the clutter and make room for more stuff.
Good luck. I'm jealous that you have an office. We lost ours when Sara came along. My anti-clutter rule is that any time something new comes in (whether it's clothes, shoes, baby toys, etc,) something old has to be thrown away or donated. The problem is that I don't always follow my rule, so I end up with lots of clutter, too.
Yay crafts! I've toned it down a bit now. It's time for us to make our office into the girl's room, so I'll be in your shoes shortly. I saw on one of those bow websites tips on how to get organized with all of the ribbon. One thing I saw was a shoe organizer hanging on the door with all of the ribbons sorted by color. Just a thought. CUTE GROUNDHOGS!! I love the teeth.
Those are some super cute cupcakes. Sorry, I'm not the one to offer advice on clutter. You know, we roomed together :) I love those groundhogs!
